Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of domain registration, managed DNS, and related services by SCS Hosts (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers within the United Kingdom.

1. Eligibility and Capacity

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

2. Scope of Services

We provide domain name registration as an intermediary via accredited registrars, managed DNS hosting on privately operated infrastructure, and optional VPS hosting services.

3. Domain Registration

Domain registrations are subject to the rules and policies of the relevant registry authority (including but not limited to Nominet for .uk domains). Registration fees are non-refundable once submitted to the registry.

4. Renewals

Domains must be renewed before expiry. Renewal reminders are issued as a courtesy; however, responsibility for maintaining active registration remains with the registrant.

5. Managed DNS

Managed DNS services are provided on a best-effort availability basis. We operate authoritative name servers only and do not provide recursive DNS services.

6. Acceptable Use

Services may not be used for unlawful activity, phishing, spam distribution, malware hosting, or any activity likely to cause reputational or network harm.

7. Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment, breach of terms, registry action, or security concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the affected service during the preceding 12 months.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
